Class Review 2/18/09
Did the following activity http://www.quia.com/hm/491533.html as a group. Each student was required to answer at least one of the questions. We then watched the beef reproduction video part II (45 min.). When we were done with the video we continued reading the Natural Animal Reproduction Unit - we read the Reproductive Development of Animals sub-unit (5 pages) as a group. Remember if you are gone - email me and I will email you the reading. You will need to make up the watching of the video sometime.

Class Review for 2/16/09
We are still working on Animal Reproduction Unit. Students completed a crossword on female reproduction terms. We read the Basics of Animal Reproduction and the Estrous Cycle (4 pages). Went over the extrous cycle. They then watched a twenty minute video on Intro. to Beef Reproduction Part 1.

Class Review 2/12/09
Did the matching review for the animal reproduction physiology sub-unit. The matching review is available at http://www.quia.com/jg/1584509.html (female) and http://www.quia.com/jg/1584488.html (male). Went over reproduction diagrams. Read the animal reproduction physiology part about poultry. We watch an 18 min. video on poultry reproduction. Remember if you are gone make sure you log-in to the activities to get credit. Also, if you are gone email Mr. Straube for any notes that you may have missed.

Class Review for 2/10/09
We finished working on Pearson Squares. We started the Animal Reproduction Unit. We read the Reproduction Anatomy and Physiology Sub-unit together as a class. We then wrote down the vocabulary. There will be a lot of vocab in this unit. Please keep working on it. Thanks. Remember if you are sick or gone you can email Mr. Straube to get your reading and the notes emailed to you.

Class Review for 2/2/09
We did a quick worksheet on Pearson Squares. Then we read the Ration Balancing and Feed Analysis sub-unit (5 pages) and you should have done the 5 checking your knowledge questions. When everyone was done with that we went over how to use Pearson Squares with more than 2 ingredients.
